Kris Belman

Ch’King Nightmare

Burger King

Kris lives in Los Angeles. He hates writing about himself in third person but is in love and lust with telling stories. When he’s not directing award winning commercials, he’s in the edit room on one of three non-fiction series he’s helming: a retro look at the 1980’s Showtime era Los Angeles Lakers for Amazon, a mafia infused Vegas tale surrounding UNLV head coach Jerry Tarkanian for Netflix, and a “No f**king way this is real” look at what happens when you swap two real life doppelganger’s lives for a year… Ask Kris to see his nasal scar, he’s not shy.

“Do you guys even have toilets in Ohio?”

– Kris’s college classmates, prompting him to make his first film, More Than A Game (featuring LeBron James) about his hometown of Akron, Ohio.

“You lost to a film about dogs?”

-Kris’s grandma, after More Than A Game took 2nd place to Slumdog Millionaire at it’s Toronto International Film Festival premiere.

“I’m not sure commercials are something I’d be good at.”

-Kris to his agent upon being offered his first commercial campaign, Gatorade’s REPLAY (featuring Peyton and Eli Manning).

“You’re a freaking idiot!”

-Kris’s agent after REPLAY won two Grand Prix Lions at Cannes, as well as numerous other awards (CLIO, D&D, ANDY, One Show, bla bla bla)

“This guy really knows how to get performances out of non-actors.”

-YouTube influencer Bethany Mota, Houston Rockets forward James Harden, Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds.  (Seriously, they all said the exact same thing.)

“His bio is trying too hard, but we’ll give him a shot!”

– Clients such as BK, Nike, Microsoft, Toyota, Nissan, Dove, and Taco Bell have said over the past 10 years.

“We should figure out a way to exploit modern technology trends such as Google Home and Internet Neutrality repeal using Whoppers…”
